Mr TK Udairam is the Chief Executive Officer of Changi General Hospital, an 800-bed acute care hospital. Mr Udairam is also the chairman of the Information Technology Steering Committee within SingHealth, the healthcare cluster and holding company of Changi General Hospital. He has 28 years of experience in healthcare operations, administration and management.
Mr Udairam was involved in the planning and successful implementation of the Medisave Scheme, a national healthcare financing initiative. As the Administrator of Singapore General Hospital, Mr Udairam was involved in the hospital's restructuring process in 1989.
An active NCC (Air) member in school, he was selected to represent Singapore for exchange programmes to USA. In 1971, he was awarded the School Colours.
Mr Udairam was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 2004.
