Mr R. Ramesh Chief Executive Officer TechnoFibre (S) Pte Ltd Class of 1971 - 1974

Since establishing in his own business in Singapore in 1990, Mr R. Ramesh has also started several companies overseas, including Australia, China, Dubai, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Netherlands, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Sweden, UK, USA and Vietnam.

His flagship company, TechnoFibre (S) Pte Ltd is a multinational composite engineering company with specialization in lifeboat and davit maintenance capabilities, serving the offshore, shipping, cruise and defense industries. In 2003, TechnoFibre (S) Pte Ltd also established a composite factory in China under the name of Vanguard Composite Engineering and a composite consultancy and education company called Composite Technology & Education Centre (CTEC) in Singapore.

In school, Ramesh was an active NCC (Sea) member who was sent for overseas attachment. The varied student mix in his schooling years had given him the opportunity to learn the need to adapt to varying environments and improve his E.Q., a quality very essential both for business and inter-personal relationship.

Mr R Ramesh is a very active member of the OBA, and was once the president of the association.

He encourages our students to venture into business and to develop a global perspective. Mr R. Ramesh's philosophy  in business is to work hard and smart, and to learn to expect failure but never to allow failure to discourage or distract one from ultimate success.
