Mr Ng Chee Keong

Mr Ng is the President and CEO of PSA Singapore, and is responsible for the performance of PSA Groups's Singapore-based businesses.
PSA Singapore is the world's largest transhipment hub. As "The World's Port of Call", PSA Singapore provides shippers an excellent choice of 200 shipping lines with connections to 600 ports in 123 countries. This includes daily sailings to every major port in the world.
It was voted the "Best Container Terminal Operator (Asia)" for the 15th time at the 2004 Asian Freight & Supply Chain Awards, "Best Container Terminal Operator" at the Lloyd's List Maritime Asia Awards 2003, and "Container Terminal of the Year" at the Asia Logistics Awards 2003.
Mr Ng was an active student in school, participating in various activities ranging from gymnastics, chess to badminton including class events.
He recalls being the first runner-up in the school's open chess competition, overcoming many senior students while he was a lower secondary student.
Since school days, Mr Ng is a self-starter, and an achievement-oriented person, who would set his own targets and time-schedule to pace him into achieving his various targeted goals and results.
With his strong self-belief and focus, Chee Keong has demonstrated that with motivation, hardwork, perseverance and confidence, one can achieve one's own goals in life regardless of one's background.
Married with two children, Mr Ng works out at the gymnasium and plays golf for leisure.
For his public service, Mr Ng was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 1992 and the Public Administration Medal (Gold) in 1997.
