OUTSTANDING BARTLEYANS
He is a lawyer by training and partner at Tan Rajah & Cheah. He is a former President of The Law Society and is the Chairperson of the International Relations Committee within the society. He is also the president of the Roundtable, a political discussion group. His other involvements are in civic societies and professional organisations like the National University of Singapore Council, National University of Singapore Society, Law Society of Singapore and Ministry of Education Committee (COMPASS). While in Bartley, he was a keen sportsman, especially in soccer, hockey and athletics. At the same time, he was also the vice-head prefect in school. He is a recipient of the Public Service Medal (PBM) (1997), and the Long Service Award, Criminal Law Advisory Committee (Review) (1996). Mr Chandra Mohan's drive for success stems mainly from the very modest circumstances he experienced during his youth, and the strong moral upbringing he received from his mother. |
