Captain Dilip Padbidri SIA Pilot Class 1969 - 1970

Captain Dilip Padbidri was in Bartley from 1969 to 70. After leaving school he joined Singapore Airlines ( SIA) and distinguishes himself in his profession.

He represented Bartley in Softball and hockey and was the President of the Judo club. He also organised a movie in the school hall, and raised sufficient funds to buy a camera and other equipment for the photography club.

Dilip remains in SIA all these years and was the President of the Airline Pilots' Association Singapore (ALPAS) from 2001 to 2003. He was also active in the Rotary Club. Captain Padbidri is currently an Instructor pilot on the Boeing 747 aircraft.

He says: “I thoroughly enjoyed my school years and I believe that when you set your mind to accomplish anything, nothing is impossible!”
